Priya is a full-time working mom from Seattle who was inspired by her own parenting journey to create TimelyTales. As she searched for seasonally relevant books to help her son experience the magic of each season and holiday, she discovered how powerful storytime could be—a cherished moment to bond, create curiosity, and build a foundation for lifelong learning.
With over a decade of experience in the tech industry and product management, Priya is passionate about building a seamless book subscription service that helps families connect meaningfully throughout the year. TimelyTales is her way of helping parents create intentional, memorable moments with their children—one story at a time.
Emma Taylor
Co-Founder
Emma is a Montessori teacher and mom of two from Seattle who has been inspiring young readers for over 14 years. She teaches upper elementary students (grades 4–6) and is passionate about helping children build confidence, find joy in reading, and grow into thoughtful, expressive individuals.

Emma brings her love of books and storytelling into everything she does—whether it’s leading literature circles in the classroom or creating cozy, character-filled read-alouds at home.
